Coaches, you have two options for 21 Day Fix EXTREME workouts:

  1. Original 21 Day Fix EXTREME workouts (2015)
  2. The latest 21 Day Fix EXTREME Real Time workouts (2019)

So what’s the difference between the two? The original has all the extreme workouts that took your results to the next level while the Real Time workouts build on your favorite intense moves with some added new ones. With the Real Time workouts, you’ll go on a journey with Autumn and the cast as they follow the program and see results in real time just like you. Every day brings a different workout for a total of 21 unique extreme workouts to keep you challenged and get you results faster.

Note: There are two separate program tiles on Beachbody On Demand—one for 21 Day Fix EXTREME original and one for 21 Day Fix EXTREME Real Time—with corresponding calendars and materials listed under the Program Materials tab for each. For those who purchased Ultimate Portion Fix, the Real Time calendars are under the Resources tab.

21 Day Fix EXTREME | Prep Week | Day 2 |

Let’s talk a bit more about the workouts:

  • 30-minute workouts each day for 21 days.
  • In the 21 Day Fix EXTREME original, you get 7 original workouts plus 4 BONUS workouts. With 21 Day Fix EXTREME Real Time, you get 21 workouts shot in real time plus 1 BONUS ab routine.
  • New to fitness or haven’t worked out in awhile? Don’t worry—there are modifiers for the moves if you need to take it down a notch.

Plyo Fix and Cardio Fix Extreme will get your heart rate going, while Upper Fix, Lower Fix, and Dirty 30 Extreme will help you build strength with weighted exercises. Then Pilates Fix and Yoga Fix Extreme will feel like a little relief on your “active recovery” days when you stretch it out. And don’t forget about doing your BONUS 10 Min HardCORE twice a week to really strengthen your midsection.

In terms of what equipment is needed:

  • For both the original and Real Time workouts you’ll need weights and resistance bands.
  • For the Real Time workouts, loops are optional but will be incorporated throughout the program and are a great way to help you reach your goals faster.

Nutrition is going to be a big part of this program.
I can’t stress this enough—don’t forget about nutrition!   2. Make sure you download the Beachbody app if you haven’t already so you have a handy tool in your pocket when you’re on-the-go. It’s great for tracking your containers and viewing the workout content.

Speaking of container tracking, did you know Beachbody Performance supplements don’t count toward your containers? They’re considered targeted nutrition, so there’s no need to include it in your count or worry about messing up your meal plan.

Let’s review the key steps to ensure our next 21 days are a success:

  • Make sure to take your “before” photos, measurements, and weight. This is super-important in tracking your progress so you can see your results over the 21 days.
  • You’ll need weights and resistance bands. In Weeks 2 and 3 of the Real Time workouts, you can use resistance loops to give you (and your booty!) an extra push.
  • Follow the relevant calendar to stay on-track so you know which workout to do each day. Remember, the calendars vary between the original and Real Time workouts, so make sure you’re following the right one on Beachbody On Demand.
  • The most important tip—nutrition! These are intense workouts so you need to fuel your body right. Stick to your Eating Plan, use your portion-control containers, and meal prep each week to help you get in control of your meals. And when you add Shakeology and Beachbody Performance to your daily prep, it’ll make it easier to give your body the nutrition it needs for the best results possible.
